Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Our library is getting into the fall spirit by having a pumpkin/gourd decorating contest of favorite book characters. Students will be able to vote on their favorites during library class. Pumpkins will be on display inside the library and during Pajama Storytelling Night. Here are a few of the pumpkin characters on display this year.

Massachusetts Children's Book Awards
Fourth and fifth grade students are participating in the Massachusetts Children’s Book Awards (MCBA) program as a component of their library class at Baldwin School. Students are challenged to read five books (or more!) from the master list and will be invited to vote for their favorite title in March. Their votes will be used to select the state winner. Throughout the year, we will hold special lunchtime events for students who choose to participate. Students can log in to Google Classroom and post reflections about the books they read on our private website.
