Card housesEvery Friday morning, amazing things happen in the library. Recently, students in STEM Club participated in the Engineering Design Process with creative building, while tying into Ms Kugel's reading program about homelessness and housing. Students built houses out of playing cards. Students found that some cards are slippery and are hard to build with. They came up with ideas, like using paper towels, to reduce the slipperiness.

The previous week, the students built Bristlebots - little robots built from toothbrushes and cell batteries.

Thank you to the many parents who put in a great deal of time, planning and prepping to make STEM Club extra special for the kids.
