Welcome back, Baldwin families!
We are so excited to start another school year with all of you. It's time to get ready for a year filled with
Joy, Belonging, Challenge, and Growth—for Every Student, Every Day.
First Day Arrival and Schedule
The first day for students in
grades 1-5 is Tuesday, September 2nd. Students should plan to arrive around 8:30AM and meet their class, which will be lined up outside. Around 8:45AM, students will walk into the school together. For students who take the bus, we will have staff ready to greet them warmly and connect them with their teacher.
For our youngest learners, we've scheduled visits to ease the transition.
Preschool and Kindergarten visits are on
Tuesday, September 2nd and Wednesday, September 3rd. Your child's teacher should have already reached out to you with details. If you haven't heard from them yet or aren't sure which day your child is scheduled, please contact
Elaine Coleman at 617.349.6525 so she can help.
The first official day for all Preschool and Kindergarten students is Thursday, September 4th.
After you drop off your Preschool or Kindergarten student on their first official day, please join us in front of the school for our annual "Coffee and Kleenex." This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families and share in the excitement (and maybe a few tears!).
Daily Arrival
After the first day, students should arrive after
8:30AM. Instruction begins promptly at
8:45AM. Students who are eating breakfast or arriving by bus may enter the school before
8:30AM.

We want to make sure you have all the information you need for the year ahead. Our Family Liaison, Susan Tiersch, will be sending out an email soon with our
new family handbook.
Save the date for our annual
Back to School Night on Wednesday, September 17th, at 6PM.
A new addition this year is that all students should
pack a daily snack. We want to ensure every student is fueled and ready to learn. If providing a snack is a hardship for your family, please let us know so we can help. We'll also have some backup snacks on hand just in case.
