Celebrating the Talents of Young Artists
Posted on 06/01/2018
The annual art show was extraordinary! The students worked hard all year to produce creative and detailed artwork. Every student choose their favorite piece to display on the walls of the lower level of the school, and their favorite 3D piece. Works featured 100 kindergarten self portraits, 3rd grade paper mache imaginary animals, needlepoint, mobiles, pastels, prints, collages and more. A highlight was the work of the 5th grade students, their sewing projects with the theme of food that looked so real featuring sushi, shrimp coctkail, pork chops, empanadas, chocolate chip cookies and more. What a wonderful night full of fun, community and student success.
Thank you to our amazing Ms. Lilli who masterfully displayed works of 350 students for this remarkable show. Thank you to all the families who came to admire the impressive array of work. Thank you to Lydia, Gemma L. and Ojani for their prep work. Thank you to the amazing second grade students, Sophia, Nova, Tyler, Mason, Porter, and Josephine for their assistance with installation. Thank you to Beth, Kjersti, Elizabeth, Jennifer and Naomi, Suzette, Lynne, Richard, Jayne and Sara-Jane, this show is going to be hard to top!
