A Morning of Beautiful Singing

Our grades one and two Winter Concert was held on Thursday, February 5th. Thank you to all who ventured out in the snowy weather. The first graders began the program by demonstrating their favorite singing games in a variety of styles. Musical selections included old favorites like "Bow Wow Wow" and cultural gems such as "Little Johnny Brown". Students also demonstrated one of their favorite singing games, "Little Sally Walker" in two styles.
Second graders performed in canon and two-parts, having developed an interest in story songs and how to enhance an interesting tale in the choral context. They also demonstrated their folk dancing ability with Alabama Gal.
