Camp 208 In Mr. O'Connor's first grade class, there is a compliment jar. Once that jar is filled with 20 compliments, the class as a whole decides what the reward will be. Maddy had an idea that everyone loved ... a camp themed day. Prior to the big day, the students decorated camp t-shirts. Finally camp day arrived and EVERYTHING was based on camping, from start to finish. Morning meeting became flag pole. All stations at workboard were camp-themed. There was a big tent set up in the classroom. Snack time consisted of delicious smores. Quiet reading became moonlight reading, complete with cricket sounds. Thank you to Ms. Mulcahy and Mr. O'Connor for a fun-filled camp day.
