There are great technology resources that the students will be using throughout the year.
All students in K, 1st and 2nd grade will have access to five classroom iPads and a classroom iMac. As part of their daily stations students will be using apps like symphony math, draw and tell, book creator, starfall, and others to improve their skills in math and literacy.
Starting in 3rd grade, all students will begin to access their district-wide Google account. This account is managed and monitored by Cambridge Public Schools and does not have email capabilities. Students will be learning to use Google Drive for creating documents and presentations and students in 5th grade will be using Google Apps like Blogger and sites to allow them to share their writing and multimedia projects with their families and classmates.
All students have access to a number of resources that can be used at home and found on the www.cpsd.us website under the tab for students. I encourage parents to contact me with any questions regarding technology at the school.
