After School Activities

Baldwin School offers programs for students after school starting the first week in October. These programs run from 3 – 4PM. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, students in grades 3 - 5 may take the late bus at 4PM. Permission slips have been distributed to students. Students must return signed permission slips before attending. Below is a brief description of the activities offered. If you have not received hard copy permission slips, have your child pick one up in the main office.

Baldwin/Harvard Hoops Program
Grades: 2-3: Thursdays
Grades 4-5: Tuesdays

Grade 1: Mondays and Wednesdays
Grades 2-3: Tuesdays and Thursdays

A collaboration with Education Francaise Greater Boston. An introduction to the French-speaking world, children engage in activities through songs, dance, stories, games and more. They will learn basic vocabulary and start using phrases. The will also be a strong cultural component with children being exposed to songs, stories and traditions from the Francophone world. 


Sew Cool! (Grades 3-5)
Meets in the art room with Ms. Lilli. Students will learn different ways of sewing both by hand and with a sewing machine. All materials will be provided.

The first session will run through October 13 through December 22. A maximum of 12 students will be able to participate. Students will be chosen by lottery and will be informed about their participation by Friday, October 7. Students not selected in the first round will be given priority in the next session.

Upper Elementary Chorus (Grades 4-5)
Ms. McDonald will run a chorus for students interested in participating in chorus.
